Away league match played on 13 April 2014.
Kicked off at 10:30 AM

We had five players missing from last weeks team due to injuries and unavailability.  Kildale also had players missing due to a 30tbirthday in Leeds.

We had Sam Bamber-Lister making his Police debut.

We dominated the early play and David Cooke had a great chance after 11mins but he somehow shot wide from 15 yards.  A minute later Sam Bamber Listers left wing cross was headed goalwards by Chris Walker only for Kildale keeper Stuart Lawson to make a fine save.

Two mins later Ashley Mc Inerneys right wing shot from an acute angle from 15 yards hit the far post and bounced clear.  Two mins later a left wing cross was converted from 6 yards by Chris Walker.

It was 2-0 after 34mins when Chris Pattisons right wing cross was dropped by Lawson and Walker pounced to shoot home.  Four mins later it was 3-0.  Pattison put Scott Ryan clear on the right.  His low right wing cross was turned past Lawson into goal by a defender who was under pressure from Walker.

After 40 mins Jonny Morris had the ball in the net only for him to be given offside by referee Stephen Foster.  Two mins before half time Dan Wrights long through ball found David Cooke who shot past Lawson to make it  4-0.

 Half time 4-0.

We continued to dominate play with Sam Bamber Lister causing the Kildale defence problems down the left wing.  He kept getting round the back of the defence but we were unable to convert any of his crosses.

On 53mins he cut inside and from 18 yards fired a right foot shot into the far corner of the net which Lawson could only help on its way.

Five mins later it was 6-0 when a left wing cross fell to Pattison who fired a rasping drive past Lawson from 10 yards.

On 72mins Ryan hit the post from close range when he should have done better.

A minute later he turned provider when he jinked along the left goal line and his low cross was clipped home by Cooke.

In the last minute Cooke received the ball in the area and beat three men before rolling the ball goalwards past the defenders and keeper and Tyrone Crow followed up to make sure Cookes effort crossed the line.

 Full time 8-0.

Mark Lewis took the man of the match award for Kildale whilst debut man Sam Bamber-Lister took it for the Police.
