Heddon secured the division 2 league title with a 3-2 win over Hexham Hearts making it 13 games, 13 wins.
In a closely matched encounter Heddon proved they have the ability to dig deep and get the job done.
Missing key men Heddon started sluggish and Hearts had a number of chances but failed to take their chances and the league leaders took advantage of the missed chances.
