Having had a very mild autumn to date Mother Nature finally decided it was time to bring things back to normal with a very cold grey overcast morning. The pitch was not in the best of conditions.
Hadcroft got off to an average start but never really managed to get the final ball in to challenge the Waggon Goal Keeper. Waggons first attack came on 21 minutes when a quick counter attack left the Hadcroft defence stretched too much and Keeper Chris Smith could do nothing about the shot 0 – 1. Waggon had the ball in the net on 35 minutes but was ruled out for offside. On 42 minutes Waggons third attack saw the unlucky Andy Perry deflect the ball into the net 0 – 2.
HALF TIME 0 – 2
The Second Half saw Hadcroft come out and go for a goal to get them back into the game. Sarvesh Tah was replaced by Luke Smith on 57 minutes which was a tactical change to try and pierce the very solid Waggon defence but the steam was taken out of Hadcroft when Waggon scored on 63 minutes completely against the run of play 0 – 3. Hadcroft never really managed to get back into the game from this point. MOM Lee Turner (Groin pull) was substituted by Richard Parsons on 75 minutes and Damon Lewis was substituted by Josh Howe on 83 minutes. As the clock ran down Waggon got their 4th when Keeper Chris Smith was totally unsighted on 87 Minutes.
