Away league match played on 23 September 2008.
Kicked off at 7:20 AM

With the crowd gathering in the bleachers and a soft wind blowing through the air....the game got underway at a
frantic pace with csk bossing it all over the pitch.
good hold up play from the man of the match shaun kevern and a looping trough ball by aaron walsh left shaldoum
with no choice but to try a acrobatic attempt, its
safe to say u could see that shaldoum had not played football for 3 months with the ball spooning over the bar.
early in the first half with great play from walsh and turpin carving apart the defence down the left wing, resulting
in turpin squaring the ball back from the byeline leaving kevern with the simplist of tasks of putting into a empty
net

Halfway through the first half with the pace picking up there was sum meaty changes going in,but cka where holding
there own out there, never afraid to put a foot in for the cause this leading to alex ternouth to break through the middle with pace
only for a exellent well timed sliding tackle to prevent him advancing on goal, but unfortunately u are not allowed to slide in the
game of 6 a side, never the less the ref decided to play on leaving csk short at the back and GREAT BALLS OF BRUNSWICK breaking and
stroking the ball past steve winter, leaving him with his first task of the game to pick the ball out of the net leaving a furious
csk team to confront the ref for sum answers only to be ushered away feeling cheated!

SECOND HALF
still infuriated but the ref first half display cka started the second half asking the ref if u are allowed to slide
in a sacasitic manor, hearing the palaver captain steve winter trying to urge his team to calm down is lobbed
straight from kick off only for him to claw the ball over the bar to save his blushes. with the game on knife edge
and both team battling for possession, the ball is fissed out to turpin on the right wing a good first touch to get it out
of his feet and with time to look up he picks out a cross and a towering alex ternouth at the back post heads in
at the near post leaving the keeper bewildered.

with GREAT BALLS OF BRUNSWICK needing a goal to pull level and the cka team defending from the top with 6 men behind the
ball the task seemed near impossible, but an unforced error from the normally rock solid shaldoum led to brunswick putting
game all square again.

sencing the end of the game was nearing cka where not concerned in the draw the win was what they wanted, good work from kevern
on the wing left the normally clinical turpin with an open goal from what i can only decribe as a foot out....only to see
the ball arrow though his legs and out for a throw.cka must have thought it was not going to be there day but with only minutes
remaining and kevern on the ball in the middle of the park he trys a ambious ball out to turpin on the left wing who was marked
only for the defender to slice the ball for 20 yards into the top left hand corner of the goal leaving the keeper rooted to the spot
