Cathedral continued their extremely tough start to the season with a trip to Coundon, to face Affinity. The rain had poured down for hours and it was initially feared that the game may have to be postponed. An early pitch inspection by the ref confirmed the game would go ahead.
Cathedral shown signs of brilliance in the early stages, with the ball being played down both flanks. All of a sudden the game has become very open and end to end with both keepers being called upon A long range effort from the fresh legged Will is saved low to the keepers right

While affinity argue about an off side decision against them cathedral break with a precise through ball from Quinny down the wing to Will, who somehow from a tight angle beats the keeper at the near post, superb finish.
