Home league match played on 27 April 2014.
Kicked off at 1:00 PM

Another new encounter as City takes on Westcats Academy. With opponents having only 1 coloured jersey, City was the one who was ordered to have its home kit change to black under the hot scorching turf in Springfield Secondary. With Danial the only late withdrawal, City still have a good team to potray.

Yet again head coach Ridwan plays 4-4-2 formation and Safiuddin was reinstate in goal, with Aleef late, Jelson gets the nod in partnering Fred in the heart of defence. Hafiz returns to right back and Eddy continues to seal his place and left back. In midfield, a shocking decision was made as Ryan was dropped to the bench, with Baeesa starting in right wing position Indra and Duncan in the middle while Naufal stays wide on left wing. Upfront the joint top scorers of Ridwan and Gabir leads the attack.

With the hot sun becoming a factor for both teams' workrate, many would wonder when the first goal would come. With Gabir hitting the post from a long range effort and Ridwan spectaular effort off Duncan corner going over, doubt crept in on whether City are able to crack the stubborn Westcats defence.

They finally did in the 17th min when a set piece send down the right flank was headed by Ridwan to Naufal who toe pokes from outside the area to the corner of the net making it 1-0.

Westcats fought back but they were menacingly stop by City back 4 who was excellent throughout the half. Duncan who was the orchestrator on the field runs at Westcats defenders lay a delicate through ball to Ridwan who fakes a shot, dribble past the last man before being caught cynically at the edge of penalty box with most City players claiming for a penalty. Gabir who stands over the freekick sends his shot crashing onto the crossbar. Again, the match against Bon Voyage cast a shadow on City hitman.

But nothing going to stop the Egyptian from cracking his 8th goal of the season. Running again at the opponents defence, Duncan evades challenges before laying it to Gabir for the simplest goal of the match.

City has a comfortable lead going to the break. Halftime changes, the full backs was rested with Ryan and Aleef coming in, Hakim also replaced the burn out Baeesa. Amin also took over Safiuddin who had to leave early.

Having made a couple of changes to their lineup, it was Westcats who got their goal courtesy of a penalty. Fred was penalised for a soft penalty as he and Westcats forward was battling for possesion. Westcats makes no mistake from the spotkick.

City pushed forward and with Rizzy coming on, City abandoned their balanced shape and went on attacking. Naufal added his second 8 minutes after the restart with a well low drive giving the opponent's custodian no chance. 3-1

It was well over in the 72nd min when Rizzy whom played one - two with Ridwan, beats the goalkeeper from close range to seal the win for City.

It was a good win for City as they grabbed another valuable 3 points to stay in the top 3.

Head Coach Ridwan commented,"Its a great victory for the lads, we could have had a clean sheet but referee gave a rather soft penalty when Fred is battling for possesion. Nevertheless, the 3 points is what we are after cause that is the main aim. We also need to keep scoring cause by the end of the season, goal difference is vital in the standings. The lads prove that they want to remain undefeated for the course of season. That's our main aim. And even though its too early to call, we want to stay up there in the standings to have a chance in the title. I hope the lads will keep contributing till the end, thats the key to success."
