The Better Side lose...
A great strong start going ahead on 30mins after some aggressive attecking football Ember didnt know what had hit them. Having numerous chances (yet again) to see the game off but they were not taken.
Being 1-0 up at half time was pleasing and a first for a while, definatley well deserved but still alot of hard work to do to secure victory.
We started off just as strong going into the 2nd half but Ember all fairness did fight back changing there formation slightly pushing more men forward with a 1st defencive mistake from Barnets giving them that leveler they were looking for.
Again chances we of plenty in the 2nd half from Barnets with Embers Keeper pulling of a number of saves to keep there hopes alive.
Then with practically the last shot of the game and after TWO clear cut fouls on us that were not given the other end Ember broke away and snatched the win in the last minute.. All the hard work undone and we were gutted!
Most of Ember agree that this was not the fair outcome and we didnt deserve to lose as we were the better side for most of the 90mins!
Just proves if you dont take your chances it comes back to haunt you!!!
Not the result we were looking for by a long shot! Points are what we need at the moment but this will hopefully not knock us back to much! As performaces go i couldnt ask for much more and hope we can continue with the same fight, determination and passion going into next weeks must win Match vs Shard End Crown!!
