More about the team
THE TRAVELLERS
The club was formed back in 1991 under the name Peacock Young Boys playing in the Selby & District Football League. We later became known as AFC Macintosh and played our Football in the Scunthorpe & Disrict League where we orginally formed our Reserves. After two season however the Reserve team was folded. We moved on from the Scunthorpe League to play in the East Riding County League under yet another name AFC Roundel. We then changed our name to the Old George then onto AFC Charter before becoming AFC Goods Office while still playing in the East Riding County Premier League. We are now called the AFC Woodlands. in the 2009/10 season we formed our Reserve side yet again and they played in Div 5 of the County League. We Won the league in our first season. The 2010/11 season saw us jump 2 leagues into Div 3. This was a bridge too far and we were relegated with the Management carrying the can for the blame on the teams downfall. This season under a new management team of Mark Kulic & Carl England the team are on the up. Over the past 19 years The Club as won many trophies and will continue to do so for many more hopefully.
