Packs put us 0-1 with a v good lob form wide right of the area which had been coming, but unfourtuantely our lead did not last that long as they equalised when their winger sneaked in with a header from at freekick. 1-1
We picked ourselves up and carried on causing them problems, with the pace of Nick and Josh out wide and the craft of Macca and Gager supplying Harry and Packs balls to chase down and harass their back 4, and we continued to look solid at the back during open play and set pieces.
We won a few corners and set pieces during this spell but could not find the composure when we needed it most.
We then won another freekick in a similar place to one of our ealier ones, slightly wide right of the 18yd box which John again fired in low and hard towards goal, this time it evaded everyone and went straight in ! (a perfect delivery that leaves defenders afraid to touch)
1-2 ht
The second half it got quiet scrappy and seen them exploit holes in our defence to score two quick goals to turn the tie around!
2-2 then 3-2 to them 55min
Luckily these two goals in quick succession didnt deflate us and we kept on probing them at the other end, the game was now a true cup tie to much of my dismay!
I the next goals im not to sure on the order?
But i think we forced their CB into miss heading the ball back towards his goal, which seen Fish capitalize on and race thorugh infront of the defender to slot past the hapless goalkeeper
to make it
3-3 70min
Then their 4th goal i cannot remember what or how they scored?
4-3 75min
We carried on as before playing with the belief that we could still get back into this tie, which we then did.
After Gager dummied (not on purpose) on the edge of the area for Harry to pick up turn and fire into the goal!
4-4 80min
For the remainder of normal time we carried on creating some very good chances that we failed to scored to finish the tie.
so it ended 4-4 after 90min
Extra time came and went pretty quick, and seen chances missed for both teams, so went to PENS!

Summary
I guess i should start with a big well done to you all for never giving up as the amount of hard work and effort you all put in i cannot fault, the only criticism is maybe we could of made it easier for ourselves???
This is something that myself and all of you need to have a look at / chat about next week before our game, as Pymore have fwds that run from deep and drop in to link up play like the one for Waytown did.
The game was hampered a bit by the conditions as it became quite sticky early on which didn't do us much favours in the footballing department, but neverless we did use the ball pretty well in the 1st half creating several very good chances and should of really put the game to bed! losing Packer early on was a bit of a blow as his strength and general play was causing them problems at back, but taking nothing away from Fish who replaced him, as he also caused them problems throughout.
All in all it was a close scrappy game that we rightly came out victorius from.
We showed again that we are capable of scoring goals from all over the park and that if we fall behind we dont give in
The subs made later on again helped us carry on with renewed intensity, Smithy created and had some decent chances himself, which on another day would of flew in.
Dan slotted in at the back pushing Tunny forward and made some critical interceptions and clearences, both of them did really well to get right into the game as it can be so difficult to do that when coming on as a sub.
so a big well done to them for their performances, as every player contributed to this win regardless of the time they spent on the pitch!
A few special mentions
I thought Jake was the stand out perfomer today, as he made some very good saves throughout the game and commanded his area during set pieces like a seasoned pro!
One for Chris marshall as he supported us throughout ran the line and was the unfortunate sub left out.
Also a Very big thank you to all from the Reserves who turned up!
Gary,Toves and Cooky! slightly dissapointed at the numbers if im honest!
neverless they did a fantastic job supporting us!
Obviously Mark as well who is our half season ticket holder no & 1 supporter.
The semi will see us face Charmouth at their place on the 06/4/13
