The Reserves visited Wollaston Village league game, a slight reshuffle to the defence saw Ricky start at center back along side Rob with Morgan coming back into the side for the unavailable Duncan, with Heath moving to left back. the rest of the team remained unchanged.
The Reserves started very brightly with Anderson bursting free down the inside right channel, his shot forcing a save from the keeper who could only parry his effort to Dave who bravely finished, 1-0 inside the first minute of the game.
The reserves in complete control, with Irvine causing problems for the Wollaston Village defence and Anderson being his usual handful, the ball broke in midfield where Hipkiss won it, he burst forward and found Irvine out wide, but Irvine mishit his cross, but luckily for the Reserves it sailed over the keeper and into the far corner, with Irvine quick to admit it was a cross
The Pressure by the reserves was maintained, Hipkiss and cox controling the midfield, the ball being played well around the park, a Morgan throw in from the right side of the pitch found Cox in acres of space, he had a quick look up, saw the keeper off his line, and hit a fantastic lobbing shot from 30 yards into the far top corner of the net, unlike Irvine's effort, this was intentional,
Shortly after Anderson was played in, he battled past his defender and was brought down in the box, clear penalty, Oakes stepped up, but fired his effort outside the angle of post and cross bar
At 3-0 up the Reserves lifted the pressure and Wollaston Village took full advantage their striker bundling his way into the box where Morgan scythed him down for a clear penalty, which was cooly dispatched
Lifted by their goal, Wollaston village came forward again and won a corner, the ball, delived to the back post where the unfortunate Morgan lost the flight of the ball and the player he was marking, who headed the ball into the net
Dan Hipkiss, tried to move the Reserves forward, he took posession and drove with the ball and won a free kick near the edge of the Wollaston Village box, but unfortunatly he was injured in the process and had to be replaced by Norton, with Manager Heath trying to regain control of the middle of the park

Into thre second half and the reserves regained control of the game, Norton getting on the ball and finding Oakes out wide, Oakes stuck a shot hard at goal, it flew past the keeper and into the far top corner
The reserves remained in control, Anderson creating and wasting some good chances, and good work down the left found Evans at the near post but the ball was slightly behind him and he failed to convert, Cox made way for Greene, who slotted in at center back allowing Spears to push into midfield,
A ball into the box saw Irvine go up for a header, there was a nudge in the back and Irvine made sure the referee knew about it, Penalty for the Reserves, Oakes making no mistake ths time, firing the the ball low into the bottom left corner, completing his hat-trick
More good work by Oakes down the left and he cut the ball back to Norton who's effort was well saved by the keeper before the rebound fell to Anderson who calmly finished, all that was left was for Spears to pick the ball up ghost past a couple of tackles and fire towards goal where the keeper tipped it onto the post and fortunatly back into his hands

Not the best peromance by the reserves but a good result. The Reserves remain second in the table
