10mins later Royal Exchange had a chance down the Reserves right, Greene again making a tackle and not getting any luck, the ball falling back into the path if the forward who cut the ball back from the byline for a excellent finish right into the far bottom corner by the Royal Exchange player,

Again the Reserves continued to push, with manager Heath pushing every player forward to try and chase the game, Oakes went on a battling run, bouncing from tackle to tackle and somehow keeping the ball, he was then fouled on the edge of the box, Evans took the free-kick but it was just over the bar, Anderson was slipped in by Heath but his shot went just wide

Anderson was growing more and more into the game and he burst down the right, he beat a couple of players before cutting the ball back to Evans, he shot but it was fell saved but Greene was rushing in and fired into the net, with 3 minutes to go it was now 3-2 to Royal Exchange,

The Reserves continued to push and a couple of long throw ins caused Royal exchange some difficulties, with the game very stretched a few strong tackles were going in, with Heath winning the ball and it breaking for another 50-50 which Oakes flew into, The Reserves got the ball back and had one last chance a long throw in into the box the reserves won the first header with the ball 6 yards from the reserves goal the referee blew for full time, robbing the Reserves chance of forcing extra time.
