Real had gone into this match with confidence from a run of 4 matches undefeated and threatened early on but were extremely unfortunate to go behind against the run of play when Ally McMillan scored an o.g after a 'Rory Delap style' throw in.
Unfortunately, Real did not recover from the early setback and a combination of sloppy defending and a very direct style from the opposition resulted in the visitors taking a flattering 3 goal lead into the break.
After the half-time interval Real seemed to regroup and the introduction of AndyRattan added some much needed composure and zest to the midfield which spurred the team on. After a consistent spell of pressure from Real, Andy was viciously brought down in the box for a penalty which was expertly converted by the gafferStephen Cargill.
Real continued to press and should have had two late penalties; once after Clark Roberts was clearly hacked down in the box and then a blatant handball was waved away by the referee.
It was a second half performance to be proud of but Real be disappointed not to have got more out of the game.
