Away league match played on 27 February 2011.
Kicked off at 10:30 AM

In the pouring rain on a boggy pitch, the game started slowly with both teams finding their feet in awful conditions. The first 20 minutes was an even affair with both teams creating chances with Inn at the Bank probably just the better side.

On 20 mins, Plumtree managed to get their noses in front through Captain CK continuing his recent impressive run of goals scored.  Following a corner from Jamie to the near post, Matt managed to head the ball goal wards, only for the ball to strike the crossbar and bounce down.  Ck was on hand to pounce on the loose ball, not before he pushed Brando out of the way!!

Inn at the Bank responded quickly with a move that was allowed all too easily by Plumtree and a good strike from the right flank sailed past Roscoe who had no chance.

Plumtree started to get a better control of the game following and took the lead again following a good team move that saw Brando break through on the right to eventually square the ball across to Jonny whose shot was blocked, but Matt was running in to blast the ball into the bottom corner.

Inn started the second half strongly and equalised with the goal of the game, an audacious lob from 25 yards leaving the Plumtree defence and Roscoe stranded.

Plumtree responded to the scare and stepped up a gear in class to pull away with 3 more goals. The first came following a quick throw in by Ryan to release Matt on the right who took on the Inn centre back and squared the ball back but was cleared.  Super sub Leigh then picked the clearance up and launched a beautiful cross field ball back into the box for Ryan who had stayed up field, who produced an excellent diving header giving the keeper no chance.

The second came from a team move involving Matt and Jamie, Jamie once again showing his class in spotting a pass to release Brando (who evaded the offside trap this time!!) and when clear coolly slotted the ball past the oncoming keeper.

The third was almost a replica of Brando's but this time it was once again Leigh supplying the assist, with a lovely ball over the back of the Inn defence, and Chris S ran from his own half picking up the ball on his own and again confidently slotted the ball past the Inn keeper.

The score line slightly flattering but the win was thoroughly deserved.  Man of the match goes to CK, once again popping up with an important goal, a commanding defensive display and was true leader when Plumtree weren't quite in the right gear.
