In a thrilling encounter at Hereford Lads Club on 21 September 2024, Lads Club Juniors U11 faced off against Wellington U11 in a league home match. The hosts secured a convincing 2-0 victory, showcasing their tactical prowess and determination throughout the contest, ultimately dominating their opponents in a 9-a-side format.
The Lads Club Juniors opted for a 2-5-1 formation, a setup that emphasises strong midfield control while maintaining a solid defensive line. Tommy Taylor took his position as goalkeeper, with Archie Rigby and Louis Howells solidifying the defence as central defenders. The midfield was packed with five players: Chase Bracegirdle and Musa Touray operated on the right and left flanks respectively, while Thomi Scoular, Flyn Watkins, and Lucas Price commanded the central area. Oscar Jones was deployed as the lone striker, expected to exploit any opportunities presented to him up front.
The bench was bolstered by the presence of Fin Jones, Charlie Arnold, and Romeo Roberts, providing highly skilled options for tactical changes throughout the match.

A proud day to be a Lads Club Juniors fan, the boys worked hard throughout the game, although in the 1st half Lads Club were bunching up in the centre, they soon found thier flow in the second half and used the wingers to deliver the ball into the box. Louis, Archie and Lucas stood solid at the back, Flyn and Fin had a great partnership down the right side, Charlie Arnold and Chase also worked well down the other side. Thomi And Oscar delivered many menacing passes to each other as they moved forward. Tommy T showed great confidence between the posts before Romeo R took over to continue with the clean sheet. Musa floated down the wing making it look effortless as he covered the length of the pitch in many occasions. Today's performance delivered two players of the match congratulations to Fin and Lucas, both players showed great effort and skills to further support the Lads Club unbeaten record.
