In a must win game Chadwick came up against a tough Midland Rangers team. 

 

Chadwick put in a good performance and put pressure on the Rangers goal from the start. After a few chances top goal scorer Danny Chinn bagged his 38th of the season putting Chadwick 1-0 in front. 

 

Later on captain Ryan Helliker made a fantastic move down the right wing crossing the ball in to Danny Chinn who tapped the ball home getting his 39th of the season and putting Chadwick 2-0 in front.

 

Midland Rangers came close. Once hitting the cross bar from a free kick and twice missing an open goal hitting the post.

 

Half time.

 

The second half began and Midland Rangers pressured the Chadwick goal. Sean Duffy had a curling shot which keeper Tom Gold tipped round the post.

 

In a very good move Midland Rangers got the score back to 2-1 with a goal by Sean Duffy.

 

Rangers pressured the Chadwick goal, but Chadwick put the final nail in the coffin, with a strike by Danny Chinn getting his hatrick, his 40th goal of the season and making the score 3-1 to Chadwick.

 

All in all it was a hard match against a tough opposition, but Chadwick came out the victors and left them needing one victory and only 2 points to win the league.

 

Thursday night’s match against a tough opposition Leamington Juniors Reserves will be the match to win the league.
