In a tough game against fellow promotion hopefuls Priors United, Priors struck early in a well worked move up the wing cross a fantastic ball in and headed home in the top right hand corner of Chadwick’s goal.
Chadwick after that early wakeup call got out of bed and with a great ball by Dan Morris fed Danny Chinn through on goal and Chinn found the back of the net superbly.
Chadwick then found their next gear and put a lot of pressure and the Priors goal, but unfortunately couldn't find the back of the net to take the lead.
Half time
Chadwick came out in the second half strong and once again had many chances in front of goal. It was going to be one of them days for Chadwick with chances falling to James Kenn, Chris White and Ryan Helliker, but all the chances missed the goal by inches.
Captain Ryan Helliker had a free kick from the right hand side, but a Priors defender managed to header it off the line to keep the score at 1-1.
Priors United had a good chance to win the game, but keeper Tom Gold was up to the challenge with a good save.
A couple of points dropped for Chadwick, but in all credit Priors United battled hard to earn their point.
On a positive side this was another point for Chadwick getting them closer to the league title.
Next week see Chadwick in the Andy Campbell semi-final taking on Division 3's Whitnash Reserves.
