In the second round of the Andy Campbell cup Chadwick put in one of their performances of the season against high flying Division 3 team Heathcote Athletic.
Chadwick started slowly and went 0-1 down by a defensive mistake which allowed the Heathcote striker to nip in and lob keeper Tom Gold.
After that early mistake Chadwick stepped up a gear and won a free kick on the edge of the Heathcote penalty area. Captain Ryan Helliker stepped up and curled the ball round the oppositions wall and found the right side of the goal to level the score 1-1.
Chadwick put a lot of pressure on the Heathcote goal and Ben Saunders took a free kick from inside the Chadwick half and found skipper Ryan Helliker who slotted the ball home for his and Chadwick’s second 2-1.
After some good football from both sides Ben Saunders found space on the right wing again and in what has to be Chadwick’s goal of the season put a fantastic ball into the Heathcote penalty area and once again picked out Ryan Helliker who superbly volleyed the ball from far out past the Heathcote keeper and made the score 3-1 to Chadwick End.
Heathcote did have chances in the first half, but failed to find the net and the half finished 3-1 to Chadwick.

The second half began and both teams battled hard.
Heathcote were the next to find the net with a well worked cross and header making the score 3-2.
Heathcote seemed to find another gear and after a fine one on one save by Tom Gold found the net from the resulting corner after a scrappy goal mouth scramble 3-3.
Looking quite deflated Chadwick showed a lot of character and top goal scorer Danny Chinn found himself in from of goal, but the Heathcote keeper pulled off a fantastic double save to deny Chinn his 34th goal of the season.
Looking like the cup tie may go into extra time and after using all of Chadwick’s substitutions due to injuries Tom Harris found space on the right hand side of the pitch and floated a fantastic ball into the Heathcote area, finding Danny Chinn unmarked at the back post. Danny Chinn superbly headed the ball home and put Chadwick up 4-3 in this exciting cup tie.
Heathcote tried desperately to find the equaliser and had a good shot in the dying minutes, but was well saved by keeper Tom Gold.
The final whistle blew and Chadwick had caused and upset and put themselves into the quarter finals of the cup.
