Away league match played on 30 September 2012.
Kicked off at 10:30 AM

2 minutes extra time played.

The Game started off and we dominated for the first half hour and the game only looked like going one way with our passing, movement and control of the game, especially after 25 minutes when a ball was played by morley over the top of the Ironopolis defence for C Dixon to run onto and turn and volley into the roof of the net.

All this changed in the last ten minutes of the half when Ironopolis scored 3 before half time through set-pieces or mistakes.

The First a set piece was flicked and fell to the feet of a player of theirs who was unmarked in our 6 yard box to tap home.

The 2nd again an awful goal to concede after loosing the ball a simple and sloppy chance came down the right which was struck across the keeper and ended up taking the score to 2-1.

The 3rd goal came from an attack down the right and after a decent ball in was played between our left back and keeper.... Gram could only try and do what he could and ended up heading past his own keeper in an awkward and awful situation. This took the game to 3-1 before the half and all our previous good work was undone by 10 minutes of awful and unjust play, we were a beaten team by this point.

We were then only chasing the game and conceded another in the 2nd half that killed off the game, and left us with no way back. We threw the chance away to win this Game with some awful play all over the pitch.

2nd half we made them work for what they already had, and it was better but seriously we lost to a team that deserved 1 of their goals, and we are clearly better than.

I think it was a big eye opener and a lesson learnt for most of us involved.
