Luke unreal performance today. Showed how far he has come and how hard he has worked made three four match saving saves. Tipping over the bar and the best was towards the end of the game where we thought it had gone for a goal kick his save was that good. Man of the match performance superb.
Leo a really good game from Leo worked hard all over the shop went on one of his maraudering runs and was again the backbone of the team with his tackling and running.
Logan had a real battle again and loved every minute of it was looking to get that ball forward at all times and jink in and out of players which always causes problems
Alex had a great game worked hard in the middle and was looking to drive forward down the wing from the center of the park took a big tackle and had to come off with a bit of a knock to his ankle after having a good battle in the middle
Taaj worked very hard in his position again and bossed it in the middle as he was looking to press and move the ball forward all the time looking to get back and protect that backline.
Reeve had some big shots that was unfortunate not to score again looking to move the ball forward and try and set us on the attack and play that through ball we needed.
Levi had a tidy game nice and composed game was trying to get the game going forward and break the deadlock had a real battle in the middle of the park aswell which really shows his strengths
Harley again right place right time. Was always looking to get back and push forward from his interceptions and growing in confidence each week his talking off the ball is really something that shines through.
Henley worked his runs brilliantly dragging players outside and chasing the ball down straight from goalkicks had some very nice linkup play with the midfield and especially Logan they are both starting to build up a great relationship in where either plays.
Jacob came deep and used his body like we have been asking him too getting more physical and not backing away from tackles. Hit the post in the first half and was unlucky it didn't go in. 1 great save from the keeper was the difference in us scoring 2 on the day
Arthur again his sheer pace is something that just seems to cause people nightmares. Was looking up more this week and thinking more with his initial touch which will help Arthur step his game up to that next level as his pace alone will get him out of sticky situations. Laid the pass on for the goal with a nice deft touch.
Tom was back this week and was getting stuck in like we ask of all of our players to give their all. Was reward finally with a well taken goal into the bottom corner, Never one to shy away from the tackles and showed this today aswell.
Unfortunate on the result as busy as Luke was they were equally as busy at the other end trying to contain us on another day I think it is a different result
Well done boys we don't like losing games but at the same time when you go down playing the way we did it's more than acceptable.
Was nice to hear from the opposite coaches how impressed they were with us and thought a draw would of been the fair result.
