A tough game in terrible Sunday morning conditions. Oakhill started the brighter of the two teams creating a couple of chance until Robert Selwynbroke the deadlock heading in from a great Jacob Brunner free kick. Leeds found a way back into the game when a free kick from long range evaded everyone in the box and nestled into the far post. 1-1 at half time. The beginning of the second half spelt disaster for oakhill as 3 goals in 15 minutes, have oakhill a massive mountain to climb to get back into the match. After 10 minutes of little action oakhill finally got the breakthrough. A strange decision by the ref to give an indirect free kick on the edge of the box led to the ball being laid off to Tony Madden who's shot powered into the bottom corner and oakhill had their breakthrough. The ne
xt goal came soon after, corner came in from Brunner and not cleared very well fell to Roy Skop on the edge of the box and with his first touch of the match in his shiny new boots smacked the ball flying into the top corner. 4-3. Then a moment of brilliance from Robert Selwyn, gathering the ball on the left side of the box danced round two players before bending the ball into the top corner to draw the match level with 5 minutes to play! A few more chances for oakhill hut the Leeds keeper kept them out with some great saves and the match finished as a draw. Oakhill remaining unbeaten in the league.
