The team went into the first league Manor Derby of the season with four key players missing so didn't know what to really expect so with me having to make a couple of changes we took a gamble playing Chris Fox in middle of midfield and Sam Graney up front with Cammy.The game got underway with us having most of the procession in the first 14mins when we got a corner Cory Moody put in a perfect ball and Dom made contact with a great header putting the ball in the corner of the oppositions net 1-0 to us 5mins later Graney picked the ball up just outside there box cut inside fired a left footed shot which hit the bar.After that were in full flow on 19mins Moo got the ball on the right side of midfield ran down the wing looked up crossed a superb ball into there box that Cammy hit first time on the volley forcing there goalkeeper to make a fantastic save on 31mins I had to make a sub Dom having took a heavy challenge had to come off and was replaced by Simon up front Graney moving into centre mid then 1min later a very similar ball from Moo as our last attack into there box found Cammy who again hit on the volley this time there was no stopping it brilliant goal 2-0 to us.From the centre kick off we straight away forced the Manor into there own half great work by Ollie down our left won the ball played into Chris Fox in the middle of the field who then put a perfectly weighted ball along the ground were Simon ran onto and put away 3-0 and that's how it stayed until half time.The second half was a very different story with Manor coming straight at us from the start they had a cross field ball straight into our box were Adam had to make a point blank save from a header then Aiden to clear us away from danger this was not going to be a easy half at all then totally against play on 50mins Ollie ran onto a ball put through by Foxy there defence pushing him to the left of there 18 yard box he shot straight across there keeper straight into the bottom corner great goal 4-0 but yet again Manor came back at us gaining strength in the middle I was forced to bring Dom back on in place of Graney (who had run his legs off) to try and give us the bite back when they put a long ball down to our left back on 59mins which we didn't deal with and they scored to make it 4-1 now it was game on again Manor came at us and again we dealt with it then on 65mins Aiden had a long range shot go just over the bar and Foxy doing the same soon after I now made 2 more subs bringing Graney back on at right Mid for Moo and Jack on for Cammy. On 70mins Manor got a free kick about 25yards out it was a great strike going over Adams head into the net 4-2 and with both teams not really having chances after that's how it finished it was a great team performance by us but also for Nev on his first game for us getting joint man of the match with Ollie.
