Home league match played on 04 February 2012.
Kicked off at 12:15 PM

WELL WHAT CAN YOU SAY...THERE WASN'T A GREAT DEAL BETWEEN THE TEAMS AND I SERIOUSLY THINK THAT THE ORIGINAL TEAM LINE UP THAT WE DID HAVE WOULD HAVE GAINED US AT LEAST A POINT UNFORTUNATELY THIS WASN'T TO BE AND SOME LAST MINUTE ALTERATIONS DUE TO AN INJURY FORCED US TO INTO THIS.

THE LADS STARTED OFF BRIGHTLY AND THE GAME WENT FROM END TO END BUT NO CLEAR CHANCES WERE BEING MADE.

HARRY DIDN'T HAVE MUCH TO DO UNTIL A DRILLED SHOT FROM OUTSIDE THE BOX RAINED IN ON HIM,HE HAD IT COVERED ALL THE WAY UNTIL A WICKED DEFLECTION OFF A DELEMERE PLAYER WRONG FOOTED HIM GIVING THEM THE UPPERHAND.

JAYDEN AND JACK NEVER REALLY LOOKED TROUBLED SO THE SCORELINE WAS VERY HARSH ON THESE TWO AS THEY WERE DOING A STERLING JOB AT THE BACK.

JAKE DARREN AND LUKE HUFFED AND PUFFED IN THE MIDFIELD BUT WHEN THEY GOT ON THE ATTACK THEY TENDED TO CHOOSE THE WRONG OPTIONS BUT OTHERWISE THEY WERE DOING A GOOD JOB. CONNOR CUT A LONE FIGURE UP FRONT AND NEVER GAVE DELAMERE ANY PROBLEMS.

AT HALF TIME WE TOLD THEM THAT TO KEEP PLUGGING AWAY AND THEY WOULD GET THEIR REWARDS FOR ALL THE HARD WORK THEY HAD PUT.

ANOTHER HALF OF END TO END STUFF BUT THAT GOAL WAS BECOMING MORE AND MORE ELUSIVE AS THE MINUTES TICKED AWAY. WE DECIDED ON THE TOUCHLINE THAT WE NEEDED TO PUSH UP AT EVERY OPPORTUNITY LEAVING ONE AT THE BACK AND PUSHING A DEFENDER INTO THE MIDFIELD TO HELP OUT.

AS THE CLOCK TICKED WE COULD SEE DELAMERE WERE NOW HANGING ON UNDER THE PRESSURE AND EVERYONE NOW WAS UP FOR THE LAST CORNER OF THE MATCH BARRING HARRY WHO WAS STOOD ON THE HALF WAY LINE, IT WASN'T TO BE THE EQUALISER AND DELAMERE CLEARED THEIR LINES UP TO THE HALF WAY LINE AND AS HARRY CAME TO CONTROL IT HE MISS READ THE BOUNCE AND IT SKIDDED PAST HIM ONLY FOR THE SPEEDY DELAMERE STRIKER TO NIP ROUND HIM AND DRIBBLE THE BALL HOME INTO AN EMPTY NET.

THE BLAME CAN BE PUT ON THE COACHES FOR THAT ONE AS WE WERE RUNNING OUT OF TIME AND WE VERY RARELY PUT EVERYONE UP FOR A CORNER TO LEAVE HARRY ON HIS OWN AT THE BACK,SADLY THE GAMBLE DIDN'T PAY OFF AND WE SUCCUMED TO A 2-0 DEFEAT.

I WILL SAY IT AS I HAVE SAID BEFORE WE WERE VERY UNLUCKY WITH THIS DEFEAT BUT TO GET THE GOALS WE REQUIRE WE NEED SEVEN PLAYERS PLAYING AT THEIR BEST FOR 40 MINUTES,AND NOT PANICKING WHEN WE HAVE THE BALL,SOME OF THE PASSING AND DEFENDING WAS BRILLIANT BUT GOALS ARE LACKING AT THE MOMENT.

NO GAME FOR A WEEK SO PRACTISE IS WHAT'S REQUIRED.

HARRY ALLEN - NOT MUCH HE COULD DO FOR THE TWO GOALS,KEEP SMILING HARRY.

JACK DOWD - JOINT M.O.T.M. TODAY,ANOTHER SUPERB EFFORT BY THE LITTLE MAN.

JAYDEN ELSON - SLOTTED IN AT THE BACK TODAY AND ANOTHER WHO BATTLED ALL GAME,GAINED JOINT M.O.T.M. FOR HIS EFFORTS.

LUKE CASEY - STARTED TO RUN THE GAME FROM MIDFIELD IN THE SECOND HALF AND ANOTHER JOINT M.O.T.M. FOR HIS PERFORMANCE.

JAKE HUSSAIN - NOT MUCH WRONG TODAY JUST NEEDS HAVE A BIT MORE CONFIDENCE WITH HIMSELF WHEN GOING FORWARD,I'M SURE THIS WILL COME IN TIME.

DARREN KNEBEL - RAN HIS SOCKS OFF BUT NEEDS TO STOP PANICKING WHEN IN POSSESSION OFF THE BALL.

CONNOR KNOWLES - NEEDS TO START LISTENING IN TRAINING AND ON THE PITCH TO GAIN THE IMPROVEMENT NEEDED.
