Another 3 points came Greensleeves' way as they recovered to beat The Underdawgz.
With Eddie unavailable, Steve was drafted in to play in goal, whilst Elliot returned.
They headed into the game knowing it would be tight, following The 'Dawgz 4-3 victory in the season opener.
The first half was a cagey affair, with Greensleeves sitting back and looking to make chances on the break. The plan would have worked but for some wayward finishing and some good stops from the Underdawgz 'keeper.
Sam made a rare foray forward but had his shot saved. Matt fired at the keeper when he should have found the corner, and Dave rolled the ball agonisingly against the post as he found himself clear.
Despite their possession, The Underdawgz struggled to make any clear cut chances in the first half. They were struggled to break down the Greensleeves defence, with Josh and Sam getting some important tackles in to stop their momentum. However, Steve had to be alert on a couple of occasions to save as half time approached.
A controversial incident just before the break saw an Underdawgz player sinbinned for a slide tackle, but Greenseleeves could not take advantage of the extra man.
The second half saw Greensleeves continue in a similar vein. Elliot was denied by the 'keeper after some good build up play, and the opener looked inevitable.
It was the Underdawgz however who got it. Their striker scored with a fine finish after a quick burst of pace and Greensleeves had it all to do.
They continued to make openings. The ball fell to Josh about 15 yards out but he blazed well over before a slack ball out of defence gave Elliot possession. He showed great awareness to find Matt, who smashed the ball home. 1-1.
The game was becoming stretched now, Steve made a couple of superb saves as Greensleeves left gaps at the back in the search for a winner. They got their goal when Elliot's throw in found Matt, who avoided a challenge before finishing low past the 'keeper. 2-1.
Greensleeves had just a few minutes to survive but it was far from comfortable. A piledriver from the 'Dawgz defender cannoned off the woodwork.
With one minute to go a great strike from the Underdawgz striker looked to be heading in, but Steve miraculously tipped it onto the post. Josh did well to deny a certain goal as he blocked the follow up.
A couple of long clearances up the pitch wasted the remaining seconds and Greensleeves were victorious.
