A good display of football, with plenty of opportunities. A game we played as we had planned from the beginning, pass and go, pass and go, together with relentless attacking opportunities from the offset.
Four and a half minutes into the game we were 1 nil up. This should have been much more but we were denied it by some outstanding saves from the Keeper and what looked like certain goals going wide.
A long ball forward caught us out on the break and a well taken goal resulted in the game becoming level in the 17th minute.
Flint continued to press forward and were soon rewarded when a long range shot dipped just under the bar, beating the keeper.
The game continued to be very much one sided, with few attacks being created from the opposition. Flint Juniors continued to hold their formation, passing the ball and taking the chances created, keeping the Colts defence and Keeper busy.
Final score 12 – 1.
