Callum from the kick off plays the ball wide to the left for Ryan who collects the ball and runs down the wing to the corner, crosses and Callum smashes it home - what a start and what a goal!! (Incidentally in the car to the game today, Callum told me his tactics - he said (no word of a lie) I will pass to Ryan who will cross and i will score!) 2 mins - !!GOAL!! !!PENALTY!! Redsox attack down centre from the restart and the ball is played into the box which hits Marleys hand. Penalty given but very unlucky. Marleys hands did not move from his side and that was harsh. Nonetheless, the penalty is taken and superbly tucked away low and to Bradleys left. No chance there for Bradley and a well taken penalty. 3 mins - !!GOAL!! Ryan collects the ball on the left hand side and runs through the Redsox defenders and shoots - what a goal for Ryan and what a start to this game. You beauty! 5 mins - Marley picks up the ball in midfield and starts a run, goes round 2 defenders and plays a perfect pass to Adam but Adam cannot get the shot away. 6 mins - Attack down the left by the Redsox defended by John and Nick 7 mins - Ryan collects thye ball well inside his own half and decides to go alone running towards the Redsox penalty box where he is finally stopped by the Redsox defence. 8 mins - Corner for the redsox, headed away by Ryan to Marley to Shane and back to Marley - nice play up the right with the ball finally put out of play by the Redsox 10 mins - Good defending by Marley and John to prevent a Redsox attack. 12 mins - Throw in from John to Marley who heads the ball on to Ryan. Ryan turns his man well but plays the ball too far in front and the ball goes out for a goal kick. 13 mins - Nick plays the ball to Billy who turns his marker and crosses to Shane who shoots well wide. Blacksox on top here. 16 mins - Free kick to Redsox midway inside the Blacksox half. Taken but it goes safely over the top. 18 mins - !!SAVE!! Another sorte from Ryan on the left but he cannot get the cross away and the Redsox collect the ball and attack down the middle. 3 on 1 just Nick back and the redsox shoot - oh what a save from Bradley with his right hand pushing the ball away for a corner. Well done Bradley. 20 mins - Corner for Redsox on this left hand side defended by John and Ryan resulting in another corner. Ball collected from the corner by Marley who takes the ball out from defense and into the Redsox half to relieve the pressure. Half time 21 mins - Run by Marley through the center and eventually defended by Redsox. 24 mins - Cross by Marley into the box and Adam touches the ball back to Callum who cannot get the shot away. 25 mins - !!GOAL!! Ball played between Ryan to Callum to Ryan on this left hand side who shoots and the ball is loose on the line - who wants it - Adam cant get it and Marley arrives with no other plans but to smash the ball over the line for a poachers goal. 27 mins - Ball played froward by John to Marley who plays the ball forward but Redsox defend. 28 mins - Shane runs down the wing and wins a corner. Shane takes a good corner but the ball is defended away. 30 mins - Free kick to Blacksox taken by Ryan who shoots but the ball defended to Shane who attempts to get the ball back into the box. 31 mins - Corner taken by Ryan to callum who heads just over the bar. Nice work. 33 mins - Ryan having a blinder and he is running the Redsox ragid on this left side winning a throw in. 35 mins - Redsox free kick taken but defended well by Marley to Shane who plays a wonder pass down the right to Adam who is clear. Adam collects the ball, turns inside and crosses but the keeper collects. 36 mins - Great defending by John to prevent a Redsox attack who seem to be getting back into this game 38 mins - Redsox attacking again down their left and crossing into the box, defended by Marley and Ryan collects loose ball to counter down the right. Ryan tackled though and the Redsox cross into the box and John defends. 39 mins - Marley collects ball in midfield and crosses but that is too close to the keeper. 39 mins - !!GOAL!! Free kick to the Redsox on the left by the corner. Ball into the box and it is loose and eventually defended. Another free kick by the Redsox and crossed into the box, ball loose and not defended and the ball is poked home for the Redsox. 40 mins - !!SAVE!!
