History
The AA5 football (soccer) team was founded in 2016 by a group of local residents who wanted to provide a competitive and affordable soccer option for children and adults in the Ropes Crossing area. The club quickly grew in popularity and now has teams competing in a variety of age groups and divisions.
In 2023, the AA5 football (soccer) team is fielding teams in the following divisions:
- Men's Open
- Men's Over 35
- Women's Open
- Women's Over 30
- Mixed Open
- Mixed Over 35
Accomplishments
The AA5 football (soccer) team has a proud history of success. In 2022, the Men's Open team won the BDSFA Grand Final. The Women's Open team also reached the Grand Final, but lost to the eventual champions.
The AA5 football (soccer) team is committed to providing a fun and competitive environment for all players. The club is also committed to giving back to the community. In 2022, the club donated $1,000 to the local Rotary Club to support their work with disadvantaged children.
