History
Westgate WF FC was founded in 1894 and played in the Chichester League until 1903, when they joined the Sussex County League. The club won the Sussex County League in 1911-12 and 1921-22.
During World War II, the club did not play. After the war, the club rejoined the Sussex County League and played there until 1977, when they were relegated to the West Sussex League.
The club returned to the Sussex County League in 1981 and have been playing there ever since.
