The Thorney U9 Under 9 Girls Football Team is a grassroots football team based in Thorney, Cambridgeshire, England. They compete in the Cambridgeshire Womens & Girls County Football League U9 Rovers division.
The team was formed in 2022 by a group of parents who wanted to provide their daughters with the opportunity to play football. The team is made up of girls aged 8 and 9 years old.
The team trains on a weekly basis at Thorney Playing Fields. They also compete in a number of friendly matches throughout the season.
The team is coached by a team of experienced coaches who are passionate about helping girls to develop their football skills.
