History

The Heron FC were founded in 2018 by a group of friends who wanted to play football together. The team quickly rose through the ranks of the Herne Bay & Whitstable Sunday League and won promotion to Division Two in their first season.

The team has continued to be successful in recent years, finishing third in Division Two in the 2021-22 season. They are currently looking to challenge for promotion to Division One in the 2022-23 season.
