Swindon Centurions FC was founded in 2017 by a group of friends who wanted to create a football team for adults who were not able to commit to playing at a higher level. The team started playing in the Swindon Sunday League and quickly progressed through the divisions. In 2020, the team joined the Swindon & District Football League, where they have been competing ever since.
