More about the team

Formed in the season of 2007-2008 by Tom Donaghue, under the captaincy of Ralston Cordial.

Aldershot & District div 3 league title was secured in this season as well as runners up in the Eric Perrin Plate to Wrecclesham FC.

Season 2008-2009 started with a change in ownership with Tom leaving the club and Ricky Wyatt and Ralston taking up joint player management roles. A number of new players joined further adding to the depth of the squad.

Having been promoted to div 2 of the Aldershot & District, South Farnborough won their second consecutive league title, and completed the double by beating Eversley in the league cup final.

A great season which saw only 2 defeats and over 80 goals scored.

Season 2009-2010 saw the 'Boro promoted to the tough Senior div in the Aldershot league, finishing 5th and reaching the cup semi final, losing 2:1 to an experienced Frimley Select side. Overall a great first season in the top division and we hope to improve on that in 2010/11.

Season 2010-2011 signals a new era in the development of the club as we introduce a Reserve side into the Aldershot league.

Not the best of season for SFFC reaching the cup semi final again and only having 11 players for most of the season.

Season 2011-2012 from last year 19 players that signed on 15 of them have now left the club which was the start of hell for Manager cordial when the season was kicking of in 6 weeks. Also asking the league to be dropped down to div 1 was a NO more then one occasion by the league committee. so Asking old farnboroians res if there be happy to swap with us they agreed then the league agreed which was a bonus 4 us. time to build a new boro squad and start in div 1.

A tough season for the boro but a good end to it by beating the reserves in the battle of the boro cup 4-1 roll on season 2012-2013
