Cup Semi Final day against top of the table Old Farnboronians, we knew it was going to be a tough game, looking at their league form all season, and they didn't disappoint us!
Again, although we had 3 subs, all had an injury or illness, and we also started with a couple of players with slight knocks. Paddy was also out with a thigh injury and Paul was ineligble. Therefore we started with a 4-4-2, with Neil dropping into right back, and Lee pushing into midfield.
We started the game at a good pace, looking up for it (after Kendall had reminded us that he had heard a rumour that OF were up for it too!). It was only a couple of minutes into the game when Neil played a through ball to Rich which he ran onto and managed to get a good shot across the keeper, which he did well to save only for the ball to deflect off a couple of players onto the arm of the OF defender. Penalty awarded. After a couple of minutes delay - with Ralston running on the pitch with a Sainsbury's bag to pick up the dog poo, Rich dispatched the penalty 1-0 to South Farnborough.

The next 10-15 minutes were pretty even, with no clear chances for either team. Until OF showed us why they were top of the league, some good football opened us up, and they equalised on the 20minute mark.
After that we lost our concentration, and OF scored 3 more good goals, as well as crashing the upright! 4-1 down at half time!
The second half was played at a slower pace, with OF keeping the ball well, and depsite a couple of chances for Rich we were unable to get back into the game.
Ricky came off injured for Ralst, then Kendall came off for Joe (who had been throwing up on the sidelines, we warned him not to go to Jaxx the night before a cup semi final!!!!)
OF scored again and at 5-1 the task was impossible. But we continued to try and press and managed to get a goal back courtesy of a Ralst header. 5-2.
We lost our heads a bit towards the end of the game and let ourselves down with our discipline, we won't mention Benny's 'kick' as he was lucky not be shown a red card for it!
So the game finished 5-2, a promising first 20minutes, was let down by a lapse of concentration which allowed OF to score 4 quick goals.
