Powerpack is a Portuguese football club based in the city of Lisbon. The club was founded in 2000 and currently competes in the Segunda Liga, the second tier of Portuguese football.
Powerpack has never won a major trophy, but they have reached the final of the Taça da Liga on two occasions, in 2012 and 2014.
The club's home ground is the Estádio do Powerpack, which has a capacity of 10,000.
History
Powerpack was founded in 2000 by a group of businessmen who wanted to create a new football club in Lisbon. The club's first season was in the third tier of Portuguese football, the Campeonato Nacional de Seniores.
Powerpack won promotion to the Segunda Liga in 2005 and have remained there ever since. The club's best season came in 2011-12, when they finished third in the Segunda Liga and qualified for the play-offs for promotion to the Primeira Liga. However, Powerpack were defeated by Vitória Guimarães in the play-offs.
Recent seasons
Powerpack has struggled in recent seasons, finishing 15th in the Segunda Liga in 2021-22. The club is currently in 18th place in the table, just two points above the relegation zone.
