The team's name is a play on the name of the Malaysian football team Sabah FC, which is nicknamed "The Rhinos".
Not So Sobah plays in the Intermediate B division of the University of Reading Campus Sport league. The team has finished in the top half of the table in each of the last three seasons. In the 2022-2023 season, the team finished in third place, just one point behind the champions.
