Introduction
The University of Reading Campus Sport is an amateur football league for students at the University of Reading. It is a competitive league with teams from all year groups and all levels of ability. The league is run by the Reading Students' Union and is open to all students who are interested in playing football.
Format
The league is divided into two divisions, the Premier Division and the Division 1. The Premier Division is the top division and is made up of the strongest teams in the league. The Division 1 is the second division and is made up of the remaining teams.
Each team plays each other team in their division once, home and away. The top two teams in each division at the end of the season are promoted to the next division, while the bottom two teams in each division are relegated to the previous division.
Season
The season runs from September to April. The league usually starts in the first week of September and finishes in the last week of April.
Facilities
The league's matches are played at the University of Reading SportsPark. The SportsPark has a number of football pitches, including a 3G pitch, which is used for all of the league's matches.
Cost
The cost of playing in the league is £50 per season. This includes the cost of pitch hire, referee fees, and insurance.
