The team was founded in 2022 by a group of parents who wanted to give their children the opportunity to play football in a fun and competitive environment. The team currently has a squad of 12 players, all of whom are aged 7.
The Cobras have had a successful start to their season, winning 5 of their 6 league matches so far. They are currently top of the U7 Dengie division, and are looking to challenge for the league title.
The team is coached by Mark Smith, who has over 20 years of experience coaching youth football. Smith is a qualified UEFA B coach, and is committed to providing the Cobras with the best possible coaching.
The Cobras play their home matches at the Great Notley Recreation Ground. The team's next match is on Saturday 16th July, against the Silver End Y U7s.
