The team was founded in 2015 by a group of parents who wanted to provide their children with the opportunity to play football at a competitive level. The team has since grown to become one of the most successful youth football teams in the area.

In the 2022-2023 season, Goole Town Tigers JFC U8 Yellow finished top of their division, winning the league title. They also reached the final of the Selby & District Junior Football League Cup, but lost to York City Juniors.

The team is made up of 12 players, all of whom are aged 8. The players are all from the Goole area and come from a variety of different schools.
Manager
The team is managed by Andy Smith, who has been involved in youth football for over 20 years. Andy is a qualified FA Level 2 coach and is passionate about developing young footballers.
