Fremington Whites were founded in 2009 by a group of friends who wanted to play futsal in the local area. The team started out playing in the Tarka Futsal League, but they moved to the Devon FA Futsal Fives Competitions league in 2011.
Fremington Whites have been very successful in the Devon FA Futsal Fives Competitions league. They have won the league title four times (in 2012, 2013, 2015, and 2017) and they have been runners-up twice (in 2014 and 2016).
