About the Bournemouth Youth Football League
The Bournemouth Youth Football League is a youth football league based in Bournemouth, England. It was founded in 1969 and currently has over 300 teams competing in a variety of age groups.
The BYFL is affiliated to the Football Association (FA) and its leagues are graded from Under 7 to Under 18. The top two divisions in each age group are Premier Divisions, while the remaining divisions are numbered 1 to 10.
The BYFL season runs from September to May and each team plays 18 matches. The top two teams in each division at the end of the season are promoted, while the bottom two teams are relegated.
