In a stunning display of attacking football, Witham Friary U13 triumphed over Wembdon Junior Youth U13 Saints with a resounding 10-0 victory in their cup match at the West Woodlands Showground on 13 October 2024. The match kicked off at 10:30 am, and it quickly became evident that Witham Friary were in formidable form, dominating their opponents throughout the encounter.
Witham Friary lined up in a 4-3-3 formation, which allowed them to utilise width and maintain a strong presence in both defence and attack. Finlay Patrick took his position as goalkeeper, while Dempsey Matthews and Matthew Lyon occupied the right and left defensive roles respectively, with Max Norris and Jahmiah Harding forming a solid central defensive partnership.
