The last SHFC match before the break, saw the Tourists once again testing themselves against an Ant Gray select eleven. Thankfully 'Young' Kev Murray didn't make it.
Tourist back to 4-4-2, with Sicknote returned to the middle, and Woosey back from his travels. Only Strang, Martin, Bowden and Michael unavailable.
It should therefore have been nicely set. First twenty minutes pretty even, and a break down the wing allowed Nik Akerman to steer a very good lobbed shot in from a tight angle, just outside the box.
Sicknote's calf tightened and he left the pitch at twenty minutes, and almost immediately a scrappy goal conceded, with number two and three arriving pretty quickly afterwards, the second created by good play, the third a result of poor marking.
3-1 at half time.
Number four a great pass from Gray into the path of O'Brien. Tourists back in contention with a Woosey headed goal at 4-2, and shortly afterwards a Nik Akerman cross/shot/scuff (de;ete as appropriate) led to a Woosey second, this time close range with a foot. 4-3, and shortly afterwards a contested penalty was not given.
Defensive disasters X2 shortly after gave SHFC an easy 6-2. Woosey on the end of a Prentice cross headed number three, and an untidy 7th concluded the scoring. 7-4. Ant Gray led the line well, and deserved his goals.
An enjoyable run out, but the Tourists will have to work hard at reducing the number of unforced errors
Scorers Akerman, Woosey (3)..all of them brilliant
