Roebuck faced Wollaston Rovers at Bewdley Leisure Pitch 1 on 2nd March 2025, securing a resounding 4-1 victory in their league encounter. The match kicked off at 10:45 am, and Roebuck's tactical prowess was evident throughout the game, culminating in a well-deserved win.

Roebuck adopted a 4-4-2 formation. Chris Hubball stood guard in goal, with Jack Wentworth and Lewis Perry occupying the right and left defensive flanks, respectively. The central defensive pairing of Kevin Burns and Cameron Cramer provided a robust backbone. In midfield, James Beddard and Dan Lees operated centrally, with Corey Rogers and Daniel Lander on the left and right flanks. Up front, Jamie Hyde and Michael Woodall formed a two-pronged attack, looking to exploit any defensive lapses from their opponents.

The substitutes for Roebuck included Grahame Street, Oliver Parkes, and Greg Southall, who would be called upon as the match progressed.

The opening exchanges saw both teams testing each other, but it was Roebuck who broke the deadlock in the 30th minute. A flick from Dan Lees caught the Wollaston Rovers defence off guard, leading to an own goal that put Roebuck ahead. The confidence surged through the Roebuck ranks, and just six minutes later, Cameron Cramer doubled the lead with his head, expertly assisted by Jack Wentworth.

Wollaston Rovers managed to pull one back just before half-time in the 43rd minute, giving them a glimmer of hope as the teams headed into the break with the score at 2-1. However, Roebuck's dominance was apparent, and they were determined to extend their lead in the second half.

The second half began with Roebuck continuing to press, and their efforts paid off in the 50th minute when Daniel Lander found the back of the net with a precise left-footed shot from inside the box, following a clever short pass from Dan Lees. This goal re-established a two-goal cushion for Roebuck.

In the 57th minute, Jack Wentworth added to the tally with a stunning clearance from inside the Roebuck half which lobbed Rovers keeper. The score now stood at 4-1, and Roebuck appeared in complete control.

As the match progressed, Roebuck made their first substitution in the 58th minute, bringing on Grahame Street for Daniel Lander, who had played a pivotal role in the match. The game took a more physical turn, and in the 62nd minute, Jamie Hyde received a yellow card for violent conduct, while a Wollaston Rovers player was also cautioned for a bad tackle.

Roebuck made further changes in the 68th minute, with Oliver Parkes replacing Lewis Perry, followed by Greg Southall coming on for Jamie Hyde in the 71st minute. The substitutions were aimed at maintaining fresh legs as the match entered its final stages.

In the 77th minute, Lewis Perry returned to the pitch, taking the place of Jack Wentworth, who had sustained an injury. The final substitutions saw Daniel Lander re-enter the fray for Dan Lees in the 80th minute, and in the 85th minute, Jack Wentworth was substituted for Cameron Cramer due to injury.

As the match drew to a close, Roebuck's performance was characterised by solid defending, effective midfield play, and clinical finishing. Dan Lees was selected as Man Of The Match by referee David Price. Special mention is needed though for James Beddard who orchestrated play and contributing significantly.
