We all left home it was bright and sunny, but when we got to Blofield it was a different story - a real foggy morning.
Rocklands were up for this game right from the start and were unlucky not to score straight away as Marcs first effort bounced back of the post with only a minute on the clock. Norwich United had hardly been out of their own half when we took the lead after only 11minutes Joseph had broken down the left the ball was then played back to Callum who put the ball into the path of Marc to slot home. Marc then turned provider a minute later setting Louis up for an easy goal. As a team we were playing some great football passing the ball around, unfortunately we were let down by either the final ball, or not being in the right place. Our next goal came when a loose ball was met by Ben about 30yards out who hit it with power leaving the keeper no chance.
The 2nd half started Ryan was subbed by Michael and we were 3-0 up which allowed us to relax and play football. It wasnt long before we scored again this time it was man of the match Ewan, who scored from the edge of the box as the ball came out following a corner. Callum held the ball up well on the left wing before releasing it to Marc who took it to the goal line crossed it across the goalmouth tempting anyone just to get a touch on it but unfortunatley no one could.
Marc dribbled his way through the defense, slightly off balance his shot was scouped just over the bar. Ryan came back on for Ben as we still dominated the game with some great link play between Callum and Joseph putting a lot of pressure on the home team. Luke came close with an effort on the edge of the box as a result of one of many corners we had won. We won a freekick in our own half, Joe.S played a long ball up to Joseph who put the ball into the box. The ball rickashaded off the defender and Marc before Louis buried it in the net for his 2nd of the game. Running out of time we were still pushing for more. This time the ball came in from the right and Marc shot, but only managed to hit the woodwork again as the keeper was beaten only to be saved by the crossbar.
This is a game that we crontrolled right from the start. We played as a team with some great movement on and off the ball. On another day we could have scored in double figures, but our boys should be pleased with how they dominated the game. Norwich United hardly had a shot on goal as we played with confidence in all areas of the pitch. A much deserved win - well done.
