REAL came out for this game knowing another win would be vital to their excellent start to the campaign......it was a slower, quieter and indifferent start to this game....although REAL persisted to play their clever football from the back... it wasnt long before HOPKINS, tough as nails in the tackle, won the ball under immense pressure looked up and found MAJALI who brought the ball down under instant control, dropped the shoulder then went wide to beat his man, now MAJALI was confronted by HAYDONS GK desperately running out trying to close down the angle, MAJALI instinctively whipped in the ball for his strike-partner GYLES to tap home 1-0.....now REAL were up in their stride a little bit!!!! REAL still made hard work of the first half at times, but were constantly battling hard all over the pitch, BLAKEBROUGH and JAMES catching the eye with their no-nonsense staunch approach, BLAKEBROUGH winning almost everything in the air and on the ground, BLAKEBROUGH showed he has a voice too today lol......however just after midway through the 1st half REAL gave away a free-kick in a dangerous area and were punished by a half-decent set-piece, REAL'S miscommunication in the penalty box cost them.....1-1 at the break..........it seemed like the Half-Time break galvanized REAL.... as their composure on the ball, communication, dominance and slick football came alive from the off......... the introduction of the clever play-maker HAYES (Jimmy Bullard) brought about an instant response in no time at all.....from a HAYDONS corner-kick the ball was well defended by REAL DUNDONALD and found HAYES deep inside REAL'S half, the kid turned out of trouble and exchanged quick, intelligent sharp passes with GYLES who in turn slipped through the lively MAJALI who made no mistake 2-1 (Majali assists Gyles = GOAL... Gyles assists Majali = GOAL looool)........REAL went up another couple of gears now......now the passing and confidence was being displayed in typical REAL DUNDONALD fashion......more pressure and dominance by REAL saw MAJALI'S header cleared off the line from a corner kick (HAYES) just before the hour....not even 5 minutes later another fine delivery by HAYES from a corner kick saw MAJALI bag his brace with a sidefoot volley 3-1......still not long after REAL were caught snoozing AGAIN in their own penalty box from another set-piece!!!!!, HAYDONS player was all alone to scramble home to make it 3-2......however REAL were'nt done just yet and seemed to get even stronger by conceding......GUADAGNO by this time had switched with C. ALDERSON from LM to LB.....GUADAGNO then found C. ALDERSON, who was loitering with intent in REAL'S own half.......C. ALDERSON played a peach of a ball which caught HAYDONS PARK all by surprise..... unfortunately for them GYLES was on to it in a flash, he brought the ball down calmly to smash home REAL'S 4th and take his own tally into double figures for the season....also in the dying minutes of the game HOOPER went very close with a well hit shot from 20+ yards, a great attempt by the lad going just over.......my mind tells me the strike-duo of GYLES-MAJALI aint done yet either!!!!!!......."You have been warned"......REAL ARE STILL UNBEATEN AT HOME IN THE LEAGUE SO FAR..........A THOROUGHBRED PERFORMANCE by One and All................Uncle Bob
