I think you all know I was disappointed yesterday I know it was our first game and the pitch isn’t what we have been training on but a last minute goal is always hard to take
Passing was poor yesterday and in spells once we got it right we started to dominate but had a good goalkeeper keeping them in the game.
I heard a lot of excuses yesterday and I don’t want to hear these come the start of the season, let’s use the summer league to iron out these problems now.
Staying positive we come back from behind twice and even though we wasn’t at our best we still did enough to win the game we had 3 debuts yesterday also and I was really happy with the way they performed, Sunny was a rock at the back Kyle was immense in goal and Charlie almost got a goal he deserved with the good runs and constant running. Triple B stepped up again and played a great role in the holding role and keep the passing ticking over. Sam out of position in CM played his heart out and never gave up and got a well deserved goal on top of Russell’s 2 belters so plenty to take away from the game.
Summer league wise we are still in a commanding position, we need a point to qualify or not lose by 4 goals. Only lost by four goals competitively 3 times in over 100 games
