Coach Musa continued his six games run without a loss with thumping of Fitness FC in what he regarded as the easiest game of the year. Having already 3 draws and 3 wins across six games, Musa was not taking any chances with the boys from Eastlands setting up his squad to chase an early win in the extremely hot weather. Already missing early season top scorer Belvis Hamisi and dependable guza wacha defender Leonard Omondi to financial suspension by the insistent committee reshuffles had to be made. Parkroads Most Valuable Player was back at the post with Mulumba seeking an early full game clean sheet. He was in good hands with Droopy returning at the back after missing last weekends games, supported by Mombasa based defender Brayo while the Steamroom brothers Ndibo and Mutua flanked the full back positions Ndibo chasing his first yellow card of the season and Mutua chasing his second red card of the season, what can I say these party boys like it rough. Pogba on steroids was trusted to run the midfield, with red hot Trevor trusted to carry the lip bum just incase them lips turned white. Returning from trails at Zoo Kericho, Nigerian wonder kid Ogochee was trusted to provide the attacking option for the team. On one flack the coach went for speed compromising on accuracy with Ras Izzoh while on the other he chose accuracy over speed going for Arafat. For attack it was a simple choice with Heyagoalski chosen over the pretenders to the throne. February with four goals and two missed penalties he had picked where he left off.

From the onset it was clear that that Parklands had the upper hand, with Trevor running the midfield and Droopy and Brayo keeping it tight at the back. The only work block had was to clap his hands when shouting instructions. At the fore front the strikers had conspired to miss chance after chance with Ogochee being the biggest critic. But with Lefty on the bench amekaza haga na amekanyaga Omena kwa tarmac it was clear that Ogochee had been bottled, every time he enter the opponents box he did everything right except put it in the net. All that massage without a happy ending. Hayawi hayawi huwa na mcheza kwao hutuzwa. Ogochee found himself wide took a touch to control the ball, twisted his hand – anyone who knows the Nigerian boy knows when the arm twist it is not Dombolo he wants to dance but its about to go down. He wiped that cross into the box with Ras Izoh at hand to head it across the goal and the goal poacher Heyagoaski at hand to drive it home with a diving header. The dam was broken and the flood gates opened with under 17-year-old Trevor continuing his red-hot form of either goal or assist in each game scoring from 40 yards when a clearance from the goal keeper was expertly controlled before a simple lob with the keeper in no mans land. This was followed by another Trevor goal after a well-played one two with Ogochee before Trevor asked questions of the goalkeeper finishing it easily at the bottom corner. With the half time nearing Trevor decided to wrap things fast scoring his hattrick after another assist from Ras Izoh. An unfortunate half as Heyagoalski had to limp off with a strained hamstring having run for a through ball with Cliff making way. Coach Musa rang the changes at half time, Captain IQ joining the party, Waire the slasher, John Sukuma, Francis, Kanute in midfield with 2 of the teams fantastic four (players who can fit in their team shirts but not their shorts) the return of King Micheal and the Reverend Sisco who is quickly recovering from injury. Sisco having been courteous enough to give other strikers a head start on scoring before he takes over his throne. A change in players but the script was the same, missed scoring chances while Block continued to enjoy peace at the back of the post. Drury was thrown it to spice things up himself recovering from a niggling knee injury. But with the game winding down it was Sisco who broke the deadlock with a thunderbolt from the middle of the park lobbing the helpless keeper and running to the bench signalling to imaginary haters that he was back. With the game winding down, Cliff was brought down with Drury stepping up to calmly send the keeper the wrong way. A game that Parklands hardly had to get into the second gear, a win was assured albeit it should have been by more goals. With the season picking up Trevor joins Heyagoalski and the dancing Rasta Ovi with four goals with Roy hot on their heels with 3. Ras Izoh leads the assists with 3 chased by Trevor, Arafat, Francis and Mutua with 2 assists. No question in the disciplinary record with Mutua taking an early lead with a red card, Kanute, Tiger and Ras Izoh comfortably with their yellows. Next on the road is Ujuzi coaches on 15th with the Juniors opening with a game against Ujuzi under 21s.
