This was the first match of the season, we started out with Ian in goal Jake and Kyle in defense Will and Toby In Midfield and Duffy up front, after 3 minuets we made out first sub with Marcus coming on to replace Duffy, Just after this TISM took the lead after a defensive mistake allowed their forward to slot the ball in at the near post. After 6 minuets we made our second sub with Jack coming on to replace Kyle who had picked up an injury not long after this we had a corner which was taken by Jack and passed short to Will who took on the defender but fouled the goalkeeper who had come to claim the ball and they had a freekick, from the freekick we managed to pressure them into giving away another corner which was again taken by Jack this time he found Toby on the edge of the box who put the ball away into the bottom corner to equalize for us. not long after this Jack chased down a ball rolled from there keeper and won the ball back played the ball through to Marcus whose shot went narrowly wide but the ref brought play back for a foul on Jack in the build up After 9 Minuets we made our third sub with Max Coming on for Jake and then on the 12th Minuet we made our last first half sub with Duffy coming back onto the pitch replacing Toby as we approached the end of the first half Duffy and Will played a lovely 1-2 between them and from just inside the box Duffy placed the finish into the top corner. At half time we were winning 2-1 we went back to our first half starting lineup ready for the start of the second half The start of the second half was quieter then the end of the first half with a few chances on each team we made two subs at the start of the second half with Max coming on to Replace Will on the 18 Minute mark and Jack Coming on for Kyle on the 21st Minute. At around the 24th Minuet mark Jack picked the ball up on the edge of the box and drove towards the goal despite being fouled still managed to get his shot of and despite this being saved the rebound fell to Duffy who took 2 touches the cut the ball back into the bottom corner this put us 3-1 up but still not comfortable as they had had a number of good attacks that were either cut out by our defenders or shots that were saved by Ian Just after the goal we made another Sub with Marcus coming on to replace Jake on the 26th minute Toby picked the ball up in our half and dribbled forward played a nice pass out wide to Duffy who drew the defender out and played the ball into the box to Jack who took a touch the ball bounced up and he volleyed it into the near post to make it 4-1 Less than a minute later we had another Corner after a counter attack which this time was taken by Duffy who took the corner quickly and played the ball into Jack who was open on the far side of the box, Jack Controlled the ball and then placed the volley past the keeper to make it 5-1. After this we made one final sub with Will coming back on to replace toby for the final 3 minutes, making an instant impact after coming back on Duffy won the ball back in the final third and played it through to will who was just inside the box who slotted into the bottom corner to make it 6-1 after this they had one more attack which was saved by Ian and then the ref blew the full time whistle.
This was a perfect was to start the season with all 9 of our players in attendance and all playing well we were clinical going forwards and apart from one mistake solid at the back Both the team and the official league Man of the match award were given to Ian who made numerous saves to keep them at only one goal and allow us to build such a commanding lead.
