After both teams getting good results in cup last week,and having already played out a 2-2 draw,this looked to be a spectacle.Catholics starting with an unchanged side but welcomed Joe Goal Machine Robinson back to the squad after missing last weeks game for personnel reasons.With five mins played Joker were awarded a soft penalty after our left back Tommy Allen leant on his man,who then fell to the floor and the ref pointed to the spot.0-1 to Joker.With 15 mins played Catholics pulled it back to 1-1,Danny Maffy Matthews sending over the corner and James Frost heading home.5 minutes later Catholics took the lead,Lee Whatley putting James Frost through who then turned and shot into the net 2-1.Matthew Dappy Lucas then got onto the score sheet with 30 mins played,Chris Beach putting a pass across the goal mouth and Dappy slotted into the bottom left to make it 3-1.With 5 minutes remaining of the first half James frost claimed his eighth goal of the season and his third of the match,James turning inside the box and curling it into far corner to make it 4-1.HALF TIME Maltby Catholics 4 v 1 Joker Tap Room.

With 55 mins on the clock,Matthew Dappy Lucas went racing through into Jokers area only to be wiped out by their keeper,Dappy falling over onto the ball and the ball finding the back of the net to make it 5-1.Joker appealled for handball,ref pointed out the goal would stand,if not a penalty would be given and their keeper sent off.So the game stood at 5-1.First substitution for Catholics on 60 mins with Joe Goal Machine replacing Christopher Beach.On 63 mins another through ball from Lee Whatley found Dappy who easily beat his marker and slotted it past the keeper to claim his hattrick and give the Catholics a 6-1 lead.7 mins later it was that man Dappy again,Joe Robinson sending over a corner that saw Dappy head home his fourth of the game and seventh of the season so far.Catholics now with a six goal cushion and Joker not really offering anything in return.With 15 mins remaining,Joe Goal Machine Robinson put his stamp on the game.Lee Whatley finding him on the edge of the box,Joe then controlled the ball before turning and shooting,his shot going in off the post.On the 80th minute Catholics made their second substitution of the game,Mark Cockney Quarell replacing James Frost..Joker did get a second with 8 minutes of normal time remaining,along kick up field from their keeper bounced and a mix up between our keeper Craig Birthday Boy Pepper and James Allen allowing their forward to put the ball into the net to make it 8-2.Lee Whatley turned from goal provider to goal scorer.Lee finding the ball at his feet turned and beat two men before firing into the top corner to make it Maltby Catholics 9 v 2 Joker Tap Room.
