another fine performance from once again a depleted lner side with only 11 players turning up for this away match ,
seems like the boys dont need the extra support of subs as this is coming common place and they seem to perform better as a team without them.
in the first 10 mins lner seemed like they finally had luck on their side as st andrews hit the crossbar twice and the post in the opening stages.
lner managed to take take the lead with Dylan R. making the most out of a defensive error and cooly put the ball past the scrambling st andrew goalkeeper after making an impressive 25 yard run.

as lner soaked up all that st andrews could throw at us Jason I squeezed an accute pass through ball for Dev-arjun ,he run with the ball over 30 yards brushing aside one of the st andrew defenders with ease before completely hammering the ball home accros goal to take lner 2-0 up and his 2nd of the season.

just as we thought things were going our way the st andrews linesman seemed like his was fight fly's because ive never seen a flag go up so often in my life
(same old story).
with our team becoming frustrated with the ref and lino's, st andrews got back on level term's with a superb solo effort goal and a blatent off side goal 4 their second.

we managed to get some composure again and started to take the game to them again.
Dylan picked up the ball on the left wing after ross cleared from our box, Dylan picked out dev with a superb ball over the top for Dev-arjun and once again he left the st andrews defenders for dead with pure pace and a carbon copy of his 1st goal

with another scramble in our box lner failed to clear the ball and st andrews took full advantage and made it 3-3 b4 half time

lner managed to take the lead with some superb team work and Ross L. picked up the ball 25 yards out dribbled through 2 defenders with some great footwork before puuting a screamer into the top left corner.

we pressed and pressed the st andrews goal but with every touch in there half ending up being off-side.
we had a superb goal ruled out for off side with the move of the match with Shoiab winning possesion on the right wing passing to jason I who passed to Dylan who then passed the ball behind the defence in to the path of Jason I and he placed a ball securely home for 5-3 but some how against all odds the st andrews lino was waving away again .leaving me furious, god knows what anyone else thought? disgracefull.......
as we still pused the we lost the ball on the half way line and their forward run the ball around the keeper to make it 4-4

with 5+ minutes left on the clock Dev-arjun broke free down the right he controlled,turned and superbly passed to dylan on the edge of the area, but got a knock on the way, the ref stopped the game with a 1 on 1 situation for us to take the lead but today just wasnt ment to be cause with the drop ball (not our free kick) st andrews gained controll of the ball scoring within two minutes of us being down to 10men as Dev couldnt carry on.
