After a weeks break in the Langley Town calender yet again this weeks fixture started at a good pace with both teams intent to stamp their mark on the game early on.
With Langley seemingly looking the more comfortable in the 1st quater of the game with plenty of possesion but a real lack of a testing goal threat from numerous corners in pretty much quick succession for Langley they soon eased off the pace and allowed G.S.A get a foothold of the game and started to keep some good possesion and attacking moves consistantly attacking with their fullbacks pushing on with every opportunity and won themselves a corner from the Langley left , Langley failed to set up quick enough and direct from the corner G.S.A took the lead in the 26th minute floating a ball right over everyone in to the backpost corner.
This had a telling effect on Langley and struggled to get hold of the game for a long spell only to come back and put a good fight back up just before halftime , Against the run of play Alex "spud" Taylor got hold of the ball center of goal from 28yds and saw his shot perfectly deflected into the path of Daniel "Bully" Blumer to slot home for the equalizer on 42nd minute and give Langley the momentum till the half time whistle which now came to soon just as they got themsleves back on top in the game of a open end to end 1st half.
2nd half Langley started exactly where they finished off with some good attacks and causing their keeper in to more than 2 good saves, Just as the 1st half Langley let G.S.A back in to the game and they moved the ball well opening up the pitch and there was some chunching 50/50 tackles by both teams and on the 53rd min G.S.A had a move down the Langley left and shifted the ball inside and eventually fire towards the Langley goal with Lucky being forced into a good save but unfortunatly his parried shot wasn't reacted well enough by the home side and G.S.A took the lead again with a easy tap in.
Same as the 1st half G.S.A took the game to Langley which forced a positive reaction from the Home side with more 50/50 tackles flying in Langley enjoyed their best spell of the game forcing successive corners and wave after wave of attacks that saw Bradders freekick clip the crossbar and desperately for Bully his follow up wouldn't sit down and Langley had to settle for yet another corner, From the resulting corner G.S.A clearence wasn't cleared with great effect and the ball was easily got back and pushed out wide right for Micheal Woolman to whip a great cross in for Jay Harris to meet perfectly to head home and get Langley a much deserved equalizer. With Langley really on top they didn't let up attacking the G.S.A goal and with the hard working Micheal Woolman turning his marker for fun and running in on goal to slip a fantastic ball through the defense for Bully to see his shot fantastically saved on to the bar and out for another corner. Langley had made 2 subs with Neil "shit hair" Taylor and Darren "endo" Henderson coming on and both looked lively with Endo making some good movement and working the defense and Shit Hair having a couple of half chance opportunities missed.
The game looked like both teams had earned a hard and well fought point but in the last minute of 4th min of injury time G.S.A broke down the Langley left with Langley letting them move forward at will, the ball was eventually crossed in with a mis-hit ball that took the Langley defence out the play with the ball going across the face of the box the G.S.A center midfielder perfectly hit a unstoppable shot in to the disparing Langley goal for G.S.A to take all 3 points and break the hearts of the Langley team.
